What is ZEMI Island Designs?
ZEMI Island Designs is Jolly Dog’s sister store, featuring island-inspired jewelry, accessories, gifts, and small treasures from St. John and beyond. Jolly Dog is the salty, irreverent island shop. ZEMI is the jewelry box.
Is ZEMI part of Jolly Dog?
Yes. ZEMI and Jolly Dog are part of the same local, family-owned business. We’re bringing the two brands together online so customers can shop apparel, gifts, jewelry, and accessories in one place.
Where is ZEMI located?
ZEMI is located at Isola Shoppes in Coral Bay, St. John, U.S. Virgin Islands. You can also find a curated mix of ZEMI jewelry and Jolly Dog goods at our Cruz Bay St John Marketplace location.
What kind of jewelry does ZEMI carry?
ZEMI carries sterling silver, hook bracelets, Larimar, pearls, beaded jewelry, artisan pieces, watches, authentic shipwreck and treasure coins, Local Art, accessories, and unique gifts. Our style is boutique, island-inspired, and a little treasure-hunt driven.
Do you carry hook bracelets?
Yes. Hook bracelets are one of our signature categories. Selection varies by size, metal, style, and location.
What is Larimar?
Larimar is a semi precious blue Caribbean stone known for its ocean-like shades of blue, aqua, and white. Each stone is natural, so color and pattern will vary.
Are your pieces handmade?
Many are handmade, artisan-made, or small-batch. Slight variations in color, stone, texture, or finish are part of what makes each piece special.
What is your return policy?
Refunds are available within 7 days with receipt. Exchanges are available within 14 days with receipt. Items must be unworn, unused, and in original condition. Earrings, special orders, custom orders, clearance items, and gift cards are final sale.
Do you warranty your jewelry?
Manufacturing defects are covered for 60 days with receipt. Normal wear, loss, accidental damage, water exposure, chemicals, bending, or misuse are not covered.
Do you ship?
We may be able to ship select ZEMI items. Shipping from St. John can vary, and some items may not be eligible due to value, fragility, or limited availability.
Can I special order something?
Sometimes. Special orders depend on the item, vendor, size, material, and availability. Special orders may require payment in advance and are final sale.
What forms of payment do you accept?
Cash, All major credit and debit cards are accepted. We also have tap to pay and Apple pay enabled.
What are your hours?
Generally 11-6 Mon-Sat and 11:30-5:30 Sundays. We close Mid August thru early October every year.
